Job Description:
The Systems Integrator role is responsible for the technical execution of various hardware and software applications for automation projects, including but not limited, Rockwell, DeltaV, Siemens, Honeywell, Schneider Electric and others. These projects are multi-sector with the automation scope of work including design, integration, implementation, modernization and commissioning. The SI works directly with the Account Managers (AM) and Project Leads (PL) to clearly identify and understand the client project deliverables for execution. These project tasks primarily include the development of engineering documentation and system configurations.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Basic understanding of Electrical, Instrumentation and Network Infrastructure Systems.
- Basic understanding of IEC61131.3 languages.
- Development of basic PLC/DCS logic.
- Understanding of HMI design best practices.
- Development of HMI graphics.
- Design and review of Electrical, Instrumentation and Network Infrastructure drawing packages.
- Design and Review of P&ID’s (Pipe & Instrument Diagrams).
- Actively participate in shutdown key or cause/effect design and reviews.
- Use of basic hand tools and multi-meters.
- Provide technical support and expertise to all team members.
- Work with Account Managers (AM) and Project Leads (PL) to understand and execute project.
- Complete internal Time and Expense Sheets in Harvest software to track billable efforts to the client project.
- Work with others in the Project Execution Team on required project work data for project reports, change orders, resource allocation and forecasting.
- Utilize personal education, training and project / field experience to support the AM’s and PL’s.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in chemical engineering with a good understanding of chemical engineering operations, simulation techniques and control systems.
- Minimum of 2-5 years of equivalent experience
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams, provide guidance, and facilitate effective collaboration.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with stakeholders, present technical concepts, and document integration processes.
- Experience in project planning, execution, and risk management, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
